Security and Privacy

Privacy and security are the main reasons to use a VPN. While many VPN providers log user connections and/or user activity, Wasel Pro VPN does not maintain logs, hence allows you to use the Internet privately; nobody will ever know what exactly you were doing while logged in, not even your ISP. Wasel Pro is located in the Netherlands and complies with Dutch law. Their Terms & Conditions are pretty straight forward, but their privacy statement is hard to find. However, you'll receive a copy of their privacy statement as an attachment with your welcome email. Wasel Pro VPN uses 256-bit encryption and allows you to connect using OpenVPN and L2TP, currently the safest protocols available.

OpenVPN through SSH tunnel

ISPs in some countries like China, Oman and Iran are using sophisticated monitoring systems such as Deep Packet Inspection or DPI. This technology is used to track OpenVPN – L2TP/IPSec connections.. To protect its users for DPI, WASEL Pro is offering a totally secured OpenVPN connection that cannot be detected, and therefore disrupted by ISPs in those countries. It combines OpenVPN and SSH tunnel technology in one simple step, all you need to do is to turn on the SSH mode by clicking the SSH checkbox then select the server and connect.
